Edströms: Advanced conveyor system integrated with Kardex Miniload
Edströms needed an automated solution for loading their Kardex Compact Buffer (formerly Kardex LR35). Together with SGA, we developed a customized solution that combined used and modified roller conveyors, both powered and non-powered components, including curves with optical sensors and photocells for smart control.
Hemtex's temporary container unloading system during warehouse expansion
Not all warehouses need permanent conveyor systems right away. When Hemtex expanded its warehouse to twice its original size, they needed a quick solution for handling incoming goods during the construction period.
We delivered a simple yet effective temporary solution featuring three roller conveyors for unloading containers, including two telescopic powered roller conveyors that can be easily rolled away to save space when not in use.
With a used conveyor system, Hemtex found a smart solution that could be delivered immediately for prompt installation and use, while also drastically reducing costs. It was the perfect solution during the transition period before the permanent system was in place.

The Nordic Business Association (NBA AB) is committed to improving workplace ergonomics for employees
NBA AB is an importer that supplies, among others, discount stores. Their biggest challenge was the work environment. They regularly receive 20-ton high-cube containers fully loaded with cartons containing items such as glass and china. Previously, everything was loaded and unloaded manually, which placed an enormous strain on the staff.
We helped them implement a container unloading solution that reduces the need for manual lifting. This was achieved using a telescopic belt conveyor from Gawronski, equipped with features such as a package counter and a hydraulically adjustable operator basket. The focus was on improving ergonomics and reducing the physical strain on employees.
Among the benefits, they can now count not only on improved ergonomics but also on faster work that requires fewer people. Today, a single operator is sufficient instead of three inside the container, and unloading is significantly more efficient than before.
