Relevator is managing the dismantling of 16 Vertical Storage Systems as part of a warehouse relocation at HSNG

When HSNG decided to invest in an AutoStore, a major, long-term project began in which their previous central warehouse had to be emptied and vacated.

Relevator came into the picture early on. Relevator was selected to manage their 16 Vertical Storage Systems and sorting systems. The 16 Vertical Storage Systems consisted of 8 Vertical Lift Modules (Kardex Shuttle XP 500) and 8 Vertical Carousels (Kardex Megamat RS 650), all equipment from 2019. Planning and managing the dismantling of 16 Vertical Storage Systems takes a lot of time and can be complex. Relevator handled the costs, planning, and project management, allowing HSNG to focus on their move. Thanks to close collaboration, Relevator ensured that the machines were dismantled on schedule so that the premises could be cleared in time for the move.

In addition to the Vertical Storage Systems, Relevator was also tasked with handling their sorting system from SGA Conveyor. This sorting system has been key to efficient packing and sorting for several years, and in this case, HSNG chose to take eight of the twelve sorting lanes with them for reuse in their new premises. Relevator took care of the rest, a complete sorting system ready to be put into service at another facility.
