Used stretch wrappers were given a new lease on life through efficient disposal via Relevator
In early 2025, Relevator was commissioned to sell two fully automatic stretch wrappers of the Robopac Genesis HS50 Modell, which had previously been used by one of Sweden’s largest retail chains. The machines were manufactured in 2018, were in very good condition, and were fully equipped with, among other things, top sheet feeders, powered roller conveyors, compressors, and safety fences.
In total, approximately 17 meters of roller conveyors were included per line at no extra cost, which would normally represent a significant investment when purchasing new equipment.
The customer’s internal workflow had changed, and stretch wrapping was no longer needed. The machines were taking up space that needed to be freed up immediately for the expansion of the pallet racking, and the timeline was tight.
Relevator was selected as the divestment partner, and the project was carried out efficiently:
- 4 weeks from initial contact to completion of dismantling
- 1 workweek for dismantling
- Work in a restricted and logistically active warehouse area
- Certified technicians were responsible for the disassembly
- Relevator managed, coordinated, and ensured the quality of the entire process
- Relevator's project manager was on site both during critical stages and during loading
Direct delivery to two new locations, with no intermediate steps
Both automatic stretch wrappers were sold through Relevator’s marketplace, where two different companies in the food industry quickly expressed interest. The machines were delivered directly from the dismantling site to their new owners, which meant that temporary storage and unnecessary waiting time could be avoided—a benefit for the environment as well.
At both customer sites, the hardware was installed by their own teams, while our external partner handled the electrical installation, connection, and commissioning. The result was two state-of-the-art solutions ready for immediate production.

One of the Nordic region's largest manufacturers of paper napkins
With millions of napkins produced every day, a top-of-the-line production line was essential. A fully automatic ring-forming machine with an integrated top-sheet feeder ensures completely sealed packaging, which is crucial in this type of production environment. That is why the choice fell on a Robopac Genesis HS50, with a capacity of up to an impressive 130 pallets per hour.

Manufacturer of injection-molded plastic containers for the food industry
As a relatively new company facing rapidly growing demand, they wanted to invest in high-quality equipment from the very beginning. This became their first fully automated stretch wrapping solution, so what could be better than a top-of-the-line machine—but at a fraction of the new price?
At both customer sites, the machines were up and running and working perfectly shortly after delivery—and both customers said the results exceeded their expectations.
By choosing used equipment, both customers were able to make an investment at a significantly lower cost than the new price, while also receiving immediate delivery without long lead times.
Relevator's role included:
- Project management from start to finish
- Coordination of all transportation
- Disassembly and commissioning by authorized technicians
- Support and guidance for both buyers
- Handover to external installers for commissioning
- Support for customers throughout the entire process, from order placement to system launch
In addition to the financial benefits, reusing advanced automation equipment also results in significant environmental savings, as the manufacture of new steel- and mechatronics-intensive machines generates a high carbon footprint. Extending the service life of complete automatic stretch wrappers is a clear example of sustainable automation in practice.
Summary
This project clearly demonstrates what Relevator specializes in: fast sales, reliable project management, and the right match between sellers and buyers—even when it comes to advanced stretch film solutions.
Two fully automated automatic stretch wrappers were given a new lease on life at facilities where they contribute to more efficient production, tighter packaging, and reduced manual handling. At the same time, this freed up critical floor space for the original owner, and the project was completed within a very tight timeline.
