Used Vertical Lift Modules increased storage capacity at Förlagssystem
Förlagssystem was founded in 1989 and is a well-established third-party logistics provider in the Swedish market. The company’s operations began with providing logistics services to book publishers, a role that has evolved significantly over the years, particularly since the rise of e-commerce.
Toward the end of 2021, Förlagssystem found itself in urgent need of warehouse space and hired a logistics consultant to find a solution.
As part of a series of improvements and optimizations, Förlagssystem decided to look into Vertical Lift Modules—and settled on two used Kardex Shuttle XP 250 units from 2012.
The Vertical Lift Modules were ideal for Förlagssystem because they offered a great deal of storage capacity. Each Module has over 90 trays and a height of just under 11 meters.
