The vertical carousel has 27 carriers with 47 intermediate shelves, providing a total of 74 storage shelves. The vertical carousel includes two configurations of carriers:
9 carriers with 3 intermediate shelves (4 storage shelves) with a storage height of 105 mm.
18 carriers with 1 self-supporting intermediate shelf (2 storage shelves) with a storage height of 250 mm.
Self-supporting shelves mean that there is a clear height of 3,250 mm underneath.

A vertical carousel features a design in which the shelves are driven by a chain or belt in a carousel-like motion; the shelves rotate within the machine’s shaft and are then presented at the opening. A Vertical Lift Module, on the other hand, has an elevator that moves down the center of the module, where trays are stored on both the front and back sides. The elevator retrieves trays from inside the machine’s structure and then presents them at the picking opening.
