We now offer for sale a Kardex Megamat RS 350 from 2023. The Vertical Carousel is in very good condition and has been used sparingly. This is a modern and well-preserved solution with a long service life left – ready to be put into operation immediately.

The Vertical Carousel is equipped with 29 carriers and 87 intermediate shelves, which together provide 116 storable Trays. The number of intermediate shelves per carrier can be customised during installation.

Despite occupying only 6.14 m² of floor space, the machine provides a storage area of 222 m² – which is unusual for a Vertical Carousel. This makes it possible to store large quantities of goods in a minimal space and thus utilise the premises very efficiently.

The machine is equipped with the optional ”Matrix strip” – an LED strip placed in the opening that marks the picking position sideways and can also display, for example, article information. For this functionality to work, integration with business systems or WMS is required.

The boxes in the picture are not included, but can be purchased.

A vertical carousel features a design in which the shelves are driven by a chain or belt in a carousel-like motion; the shelves rotate within the machine’s shaft and are then presented at the opening. A Vertical Lift Module, on the other hand, has an elevator that moves down the center of the module, where trays are stored on both the front and back sides. The elevator retrieves trays from inside the machine’s structure and then presents them at the picking opening.

A new, standard-equipped Vertical Storage System typically costs from 600,000 SEK (approx. 700,000 SEK). By choosing a used machine from Relevator, the investment cost can be significantly reduced. Our used Vertical Storage Systems typically cost between 175,000 and 450,000 SEK, depending on the Modell, manufacturing year, and condition.

Relevator always provides a performance warranty and, for installations, usually a machine warranty as well. The performance warranty means that we guarantee the machine we sell is in working order. The machine warranty means that if a defect arises as a result of the installation, we will repair it. The machine warranty covers the mechanics and installation, but any electronics faults are not covered by the warranty.
