Hanter IT – Sorting Systems
EUR 45,699
Overview
A sorting system with 15 sorting lanes from Hanter IT is now for sale. The system was built in 2019, so it is in very good condition. The parcel sorting system is designed in an “L” shape (see diagram), making it flexible and adaptable. The “loading lane” is built on two levels, where the upper level (conveyor belt) delivers cartons that are then packed and loaded onto the conveyor belt (on the lower level) that transports the goods to the sorting lanes. You can choose to keep the two levels, or to use only the conveyor belt.
Layout Clarification & Functional Description
The goods are placed on the conveyor belt (pos. 159) and continue along a right-hand curve (pos. 160), where they then proceed toward the sorting area. Along the way, the goods are scanned and then enter belt conveyor pos. 164, where the control system determines where the goods are placed using a pulse counter. The goods are sorted into the correct sorting lane by a photocell at each direction activating the pusher.
The goods are then transported to the end of the line, where they are manually placed on pallets. The heaviest items are sorted onto a separate conveyor belt to prevent damage to lighter goods.
The sorting systems include, among other things:
- – 16 units, including 3 frequency-controlled units
- – 80 photoelectric units/transducers
- – 15 warning units
- – 9 control units with emergency stop
- – 1 scanner unit (SICK OPS290)
With a conveyor belt width of 600 mm and a capacity of just over 1,300 packages per hour, the possibilities are endless, as it handles larger and heavier packages just as well as smaller and lighter ones.
Since the solution has already been disassembled, it can be shipped immediately.
